On October 6-7, 2022, on the basis of the National Center for Children's Rehabilitation, IX Republican research and training conference on "Priority orientations of rehabilitation and balneotherapeutics", which was held in full-time format, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

       Presentations of foreign and domestic speakers reflecting improvement of the service of activities of physical medicine and rehabilitation were featured at the conference (Georgia, Russia, Italy, Mongolia, Korea, the Netherlands and India).

      "Karaganda Medical University" NCJSC was presented by Professor of the School of Nursing Education, Doctor of Medical Sciences T.T.  Kispayeva, a report on the topic of "Improvement of nursing service in the rehabilitation of patients with cerebral stroke", on the organization of nursing service in rehabilitation, where the issues of the role and participation (diagnostics and rehabilitation competencies) of nursing staff in medical rehabilitation were highlighted, as well as the possibility of training nursing staff in medical rehabilitation, educational and scientific and technological resources of nursing rehabilitation in the current conditions.

       Within the framework of the conference, a poster report was presented by the staff of the School of Nursing Education: a 2nd year master's student M. Amirbekova, Master of Medical Sciences A.R.  Aitmagametov, master's student I.B.  Meermanova, master's student K.E.Shozda, master's student F.H. Saduyeva on the topic "The role of a nurse in the rehabilitation of patients after cerebral stroke" (academic adviser Professor T.T. Kispayeva).
