On April 3, 2026, a competition titled “Emergency Territory” was held at the Center for Simulation and Educational Technologies of Karaganda Medical University. The event involved 1st–3rd year medical residents, as well as senior students from Temirtau Higher Medical College. A total of 5 teams participated in the competition.
Participants provided assistance to victims in emergency within a simulated “Earthquake” scenario. The scenario included the following emergencies: emergency action for closed craniocerebral injury, clinical death in a child, assistance for a victim with crush syndrome, nasal bleeding, wound shock, and other minor injuries.
The jury consisted of representatives of practical healthcare and departments: Dmitry Yakovlevich Volkov — senior lecturer at the military department of Karaganda Medical University; Alexander Yuryevich Politov — retired lieutenant colonel of the medical service, lecturer at the military department of KMU NCJSC; Tashli Nepesovich Oveznepesov — lecturer at Temirtau Higher Medical College, advanced paramedic practitioner at the Department of Emergency Situations of the Karaganda region; Tolegen Ikramovich Kerimbekov — assistant, doctoral student at the Department of Surgical Diseases; Galina Georgiyevna Eremicheva — professor at the Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology of KMU NCJSC, pediatric physician of the highest qualification category.
Following the competition, a detailed debriefing was conducted, and the winners were awarded diplomas.
