On March 21, 2026, as part of the Nauryz celebrations in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the awarding ceremony of the international competition “Best Student of Central Asia – 2026” was held in Astana.
Students from Central Asian countries participated in the competition: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
A 1st-degree diploma and the honorary title “Best Student of Central Asia” were awarded to Marzhan Serzhankyzy Akhmetova, a 2nd-year medical resident of the “Pediatrics” program.
The scientific activities and achieved results were carried out under the supervision of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Bibigul Toleubayevna Tukbekova, as well as Candidate of Medical Sciences, Head of the “Pediatrics” educational program, Professor Galina Georgiyevna Yeremicheva.
