From June 27 to July 9, 2022, the Summer School of the Erasmus+ HARMONEE project, of which Karaganda Medical University is a member, was held in Bukhara. Our university was represented by an educator from the School of Public Health and Biomedicine Zhamantaev Olzhas, a specialist from the Research School and a project coordinator from KMU, Kalishev Marat Guzairovich, who shared his experience in the field of hygiene and environmental health remotely with the consortium partners.

There were 10 hot fruitful days of work. Summer School participants with the help of European and Central Asian consultants prepared the curricula for the disciplines "One Health", "Burden of noncommunicable diseases", "Environmental toxicology", "Global Health" etc. The team has started the analysis of some occupational health issues in Central Asia and the European Union.
