On November 21, 2024, Karaganda Medical University welcomed a delegation from Jilin University (China). Professor Yufei Gao, Director of the Department of Neurosurgery at Jilin University's China-Japan Union Hospital, was among the delegation's members, along with Professor Jinnan Zhang and other doctors from the same department.

    During the visit, representatives from both parties discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation between the two universities, particularly academic mobility. Prospects for exchange of students and teachers, as well as initiatives to develop joint scientific and educational programs, were discussed.

During the talks, the importance of expanding cooperation in neurosurgery and other medical fields was highlighted as this will increase both sides' scientific and educational potential. It is expected that such initiatives would create new opportunities for academic exchange and joint scientific research in the future.

This visit was a key step toward building international relations between Karaganda Medical University and Jilin University, which will contribute to improving the scientific and educational environment as well as provide support for innovative medical projects.
