On September 12-13, 2025, the International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Current Issues of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation” was held. The conference was attended by leading experts and young scientists fr om South Korea, Russia, Uzbekistan, France, and Kazakhstan, who delivered reports on methods of diagnosis and recovery of patients in present-day conditions.
As part of the event, a competition for young scientists was held, wh ere young researchers, second-year master's degree students from the School of Nursing Education of KMU presented the results of their scientific work (academic adviser: T.T. Kispayeva, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor at KMU).



All three master's degree students were highly evaluated by the judges of the contest and received top places: Nargiz Kaiyrzhanova with a report on the topic of «Восстановление речи у пациентов с постинсультной дизартрией методом ПНФ оромандибулярной зоны» (“Speech restoration in patients with post-stroke dysarthria using the PNF method of the oromandibular zone”) took second place and was awarded a second-degree diploma; Botagoz Bataa with a report on «Проприоцептивті нейробұлшықеттік фасилитацияның жедел кезеңдегі инсульттан кейінгі қол парезін қалпына келтіруге әсері»
(“The Effect of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation on the Recovery of Upper Limb Paresis in the Acute Stage After Stroke”) and Albina Zheksenbayeva with a report on «Церебралды инсульттен кейінгі науқастардың жүрісін қалпына келтірудегі проприоцептивті нейробұлшықеттік фасилитация әдісінің әсері» (“Impact of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Method on Walking Rehabilitation in Patients After Cerebral Stroke”) took third place and were awarded third-degree diplomas.
The participation of the master’s degree students from the School of Nursing Education in the international conference was a significant event, allowing young researchers not only to present the results of their own research work, but also to exchange experience with colleagues from other countries.
