In January 2023, the annual international competition of research papers was held, where the 1st-year student of the EP "Biomedicine" Bigali Alibi was awarded a Diploma of the first degree in the nomination "Sociological Sciences". The topic of the research paper "Loneliness and old age: synonyms?" attracted the attention of many researchers, interested readers. Scientific supervisor - assistant Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Socio-Political Disciplines Lamanova Alexandra was awarded for her contribution to scientific development.

The purpose of Alibi's work was to assess the situation of elderly people in modern society, as well as to maximize the effectiveness of social mechanisms for caring for lonely elderly people, since lonely old age can serve as a hotbed for the formation of psychological, mental and even physiological abnormalities.
