On December 17, 2022, the Combat Sambo Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan was hosted in Semey. The competition was attended by the student of "KMU" NCJSC, Zh.  Nurlan from the 4010 GM group, who won the honorable 3rd place and was awarded the title of Candidate Master of Sports in combat sambo.
