The Ambassador of Romania, Madalina Lupu, visited Karaganda Medical University

Karaganda Medical University continues to expand its international collaboration with its Romanian partners. During the visit, new areas for developing educational ties between KMU and Romanian universities were discussed.

KMU is currently actively collaborating with Romanian universities, having signed memoranda and cooperation agreements with three of the country's leading educational institutions. Last year, KMU's Acting Rector, Viktor Riklefs, visited the "Iuliu Hațieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMF Cluj), where he discussed student exchange and educational technologies.

During the meeting with KMU management, Madalina Lupu introduced another Romanian university, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Târgu Mureş.
In addition, a business forum with Kazakhstani and Romanian entrepreneurs is planned for the Karaganda region in 2025.
