On October 2, 2025, first-year students of the “General Medicine” educational program (TVET level) visited the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Karaganda National Research University named after Academician Y.A. Buketov as part of their educational process in the subject “History of Kazakhstan” under the guidance of Maya Suragan, social and economic sciences teacher..png)
The tour was given by the museum's director, Marina Vasiliyevna Bedelbayeva, who delivered an engaging and comprehensive presentation on the region's history, archaeological findings, and ethnographic heritage.
The museum's exposition depicts the rich and diverse history of ancient tribes while also demonstrating the most recent advances in archaeological science. The exhibition halls display both unique ancient artifacts and items representing cultural artifacts of the Kazakh people.

The students were particularly fascinated in the 20 exhibits that covered major periods of human history, from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages. The highlights included a reconstructed Bronze Age burial site, ancient Turkic stone sculptures, an installation of rock carvings (petroglyphs), and a traditional Kazakh yurt.
Activities like these contribute to students' personal enrichment and foster a respectful attitude toward the historical and cultural legacy of their native land.
