Borderless simulation training

Borderless simulation trainingAs part of the development of international cooperation and the exchange of best practices in medical education, Gulshat Seitmuratovna Kemelova, Director of the Center for Simulation and Educational Technologies at Karaganda Medical University, held a 60-hour training session for faculty members and students on "Simulation Technologies for Developing Students' Clinical Competence" in response to invitation of the management of the Termez branch of Tashkent State Medical University as part of external academic mobility. The goal of the program was to improve the quality of medical education through the introduction of simulation technologies aimed at developing students' clinical competencies, practical skills, and medical judgment. Intended outcomes of the workshop are expanding expertise of faculty members in simulation training; mastering modern approaches to practice-oriented learning; improving the level of clinical training for students; and enhancing international academic cooperation between educational organizations.

Implementation of this program promotes the integration of modern educational technologies into the educational process and is consistent with current trends in the development of medical education.
