From November 24 to 28, 2025, as part of the Visiting Professor program, the university was visited by leading specialists from Omsk State Medical University: Olga Vladimirovna Plotnikova, Head of the Department of Occupational Hygiene and Occupational Pathology, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Senior Lecturer, and Denis Vladimirovich Turchaninov, Head of the Department of Hygiene and Nutrition, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor. They delivered problem lectures on community sanitation and food hygiene for students in "Public Health" and "Medical and preventative care".
During the lectures, the Russian colleagues demonstrated a high level of expertise and teaching skills. The lecture material was distinguished by its novelty and originality, and was full of interesting examples.
During the visit, plans for further cooperation between the departments were also discussed, including the organization and holding joint scientific and educational events and preparing scientific publications.
In their free time, the guests of KMU were introduced to the sights of Karaganda.
