On October 22, 2025, the Department of Morphology held a panel discussion on the topic of “Republic Day —Time of Honor, Memory, and Inspiration!” with the participation of the group 2-017 majoring in Pediatrics, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Inna Andreyevna Agarkova.
During the meeting, the students learned about the historical events that preceded the independence of Kazakhstan and about the adoption of the Declaration on National Sovereignty on October 25, 1990, which became the first step toward achieving freedom and national identity. Students noted that Republic Day serves as a reminder of the courage and determination of the Kazakhstani people in building their own future. For younger generation, this holiday has become not just a historic day, but a symbol of pride, unity, and responsibility for the fate of their country. Such discussions help students acknowledge the importance of public spirit and respect for history.



In addition, the participants of the panel discussion gave consideration to the importance to cherish spiritual and cultural values, to strengthen unity and harmony in society. It was emphasized that independence is not only a historical fact but also the daily effort of every citizen focused on developing their homeland, science, medicine, and education. The students shared their thoughts that being a citizen of the independent Kazakhstan means taking responsibility for its future, cherishing national traditions, and striving for creation.
Special attention was given to the role of youth as the driving force of progress: it is the younger generation that shapes the image of a modern country — open, strong, and confident in its ideals. At the conclusion of the meeting, the students expressed genuine pride for their Motherland and emphasized that Republic Day represents not only the victories of the past but also hope for the future, in which every Kazakhstani contributes to the prosperity of the state. Such events foster a sense of national dignity, civic responsibility, and aspiration to be worthy successors of their country’s great history in future professionals.
