Fr om February 23 to February 27, 2026, the Regional Student Sports Games to mark the 30th anniversary of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. This large-scale sports event brought together teams from higher education institutions of the region, becoming not only a platform for competitions, but also a true celebration of student sports, strength of spirit, and team unity.

Teams from eight higher education institutions of the region took part in the sports games: Karaganda Medical University, Karaganda National Research University named after Y.A. Buketov, Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University, Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz, Bolashaq University, Karaganda Industrial University, Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after B. Beisenov, and Central Kazakhstan Academy.

As part of the competition, 18 sets of medals were awarded in 15 various sports, wh ere students demonstrated a high level of training, commitment to win, and real team spirit.

During the week, participants displayed a high level of training, commitment to win, and respect for opponents.

Following the results of the sports games in the team standings, places were distributed as follows:

1st place — Karaganda National Research University named after Y.A. Buketov;

2nd place — Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University;

3rd place — Karaganda Medical University.
