On April 17, 2026, the annual international student subject Olympiad was held at the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov. In the section of “Microbiology, Virology, Parasitology,” students from the 6B05101 “Biomedicine” educational program of Karaganda Medical University — Zhumagali Kozhakhmet, Miras Aidarbekov, and Aidana Yernazarova participated. The Olympiad was aimed at developing professional knowledge, scientific analysis skills, and teamwork among students. Participation in this event allowed our students to demonstrate their professional competencies, apply their acquired theoretical knowledge in practice, and exchange experience with peers from other medical universities, contributing to the expansion of their scientific perspectives, advancing professional knowledge, and the development of international academic collaboration. According to the results of the Olympiad, our students performed well and won 2nd place.
