M. T. Aliyakparov, Professor Emeritus from the Department of Oncology and Radiodiagnosis of Karaganda Medical University, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Medical Sciences has been awarded the honorary title of “Қазақстанның еңбек сіңірген қайраткері” (Honored Worker of Kazakhstan).
The ceremonial event was attended by distinguished doctors, industry veterans, heads of research institutes, republican and scientific centers.
The Head of the Ministry, Akmaral Alnazarova, congratulated industry employees on the national holiday and noted that healthcare is demonstrating steady positive growth, reflecting the development of the country as a whole.
In her speech, Akmaral Alnazarova noted that during the years of independence, large-scale healthcare development programs have been implemented in the country, focused on improving cardiological, oncological, and pediatric care, reducing maternal and infant mortality, increasing the overall life expectancy of the population, and introducing advanced medical technologies.
In advance of the holiday, health care professionals received more than 100 national awards and over 1,300 departmental awards, which was recognition of their excellence, dedication, and significant contribution to the development of the country's healthcare system.
“Special gratitude to the veterans of the healthcare system. Your experience helps cherish traditions and sets the pattern for young professionals,” said the minister.
