On September 6, 2024, "Karaganda Medical University" NCJSC in cooperation with the "NEIRON" Professional Association with the support from the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Department of Healthcare of the Karaganda region held an international research and practical conference "Medical rehabilitation at the outpatient level: modern approaches and opportunities" with the number of registered participants of 602 people.

The conference was attended by representatives of the academic and professional community from educational organizations, professional associations, healthcare organizations from Kazakhstan, neighboring countries and far abroad such as Russia, Turkey, United States, Lithuania, Uzbekistan, Australia, and Belarus.

Within the framework of the international research and practical conference, from September 3 to September 5, a pre-conference workshop was held for rehabilitation therapists, kinesotherapists, rehabilitation nurses, trainer - leading kinesotherapist  I.I. Tabiyev (Kazan, Russia), which was attended by participants from Almaty, Petropavlovsk, Uralsk, Balkhash, Zhezkazgan.

Within the framework of the conference, the opportunity to participate in the competition of academic research works "School of Young Scientists" was presented for authors under the age of 35 inclusively.

The authors' research papers have been given particular attention:

"Исследование качества сна у пациентов с заболеваниями спектра оптиконевромиелита, проживающих на территории Российской Федерации, при помощи Питтсбургского опросника" - the author is Yekaterina Alekseevna Vekhina, neurologist, 2-year postgraduate student of the Department of Nervous Diseases with Medical Genetics and Neurosurgery at the Yaroslavl State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation under the supervision of Dmitry Sergeevich Kasatkin, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Nervous Diseases with Medical Genetics and Neurosurgery at the YSMU of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation

"Инновационные подходы к телереабилитации после эндопротезирования: оценка эффективности мобильного приложения с функцией контроля выполнения упражнений"- the author is Zhandos Orazalyuly Kurban under the supervision of  N.V. Slivkina,  Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Chairperson of the Department of Rehabilitation at the AMU NCJSC.

"Стационар жағдайында түнгі ауысымдағы жұмыстың мейіргерлердің өмір сапасына әсерін бағалау"- the authors are Zulfiya Kanatbayeva, Botagoz Bataa under the supervision of Zhandarbek Abdukhalievich Kalbekov, Assistant Professor of the School of Nursing Education at the KMU NCJSC.

"Восстановление мелкой моторики у пациентов с церебральным инсультом"- the authors are Irina Kislenko, Mariyam Amirbekova under the supervision of Inna Aleksandrovna Bolshakova, Assistant Professor of the School of Nursing Education at the KMU NCJSC.
