Second-year students from the International Medical Faculty, along with Assistant Professor Galiya Faniliyevna Galina, visited Karaganda Medical University's museum of history and achievements. With intense enthusiasm, students learnt about the legacy of former deans, teachers, and students who contributed to the development of medical education and healthcare in Kazakhstan.
International students eagerly viewed rare photographs, personal artifacts, and historical records, receiving a comprehensive overview of the evolution of medical education and the university's significance in shaping the country's healthcare system.
After listening fascinating stories from the museum's director, Nailya Fuadbekovna Saifulina, students shared their impressions: “The museum gave me a sense of pride in being part of the university's history with strong traditions in medical education”.
“I was inspired by the history of achievements of graduates of KMU, who devoted their lifetime to the development of medical science in Kazakhstan and in the world”.
Students concluded that tour to the museum made them feel more connected to the university and proud to be a part of legacy of Karaganda Medical University.
