In the rating of the  "Atameken" NCE RK for 2022, "Karaganda Medical University" NCJSC took the I place in the "Pharmacy" educational program, the II place in the "Public Health" specialization, "Technology of Pharmaceutical Production", the III place in the  "General Medicine", "Nursing" specialties, IV in the "Dentistry" educational program.

The evaluation of educational programs takes into account such criteria as, career prospects of alumni, achievements of students, salaries of specialists, employment rate, duration of a job search.

According to the Dean of the School of Pharmacy of  Karaganda Medical University Irina Loseva, demand for graduates of the "Pharmacy" educational program in the labour market is really high; our graduates are employed in large pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organizations.

The "Pharmacy" educational program obtained international accreditation in 2019, listed on the Register of Educational Programs. The School of Pharmacy has very strong faculty members, most of teachers have extensive practical work experience in pharmaceutical sectors, also they get engaged in academic research work, in which students are also actively involved. There are many scopes of application of knowledge and skills for our graduates – they can work in pharmacies, testing laboratories, pharmaceutical production, pharmaceutical companies, pharmaceutical management structure, and can continue their master’s studies.

For the last 4 years, the School of Pharmacy has been accepting college graduates in the "Pharmacy" specialty as well as graduates of bachelor’s degree in related specialties for training in "Pharmacy" educational program with a shortened period of study.
