Kazakhstan-France Investment Forum
At the recent Kazakhstan-France Investment Forum, the prospects for cooperation between the two countries were discussed, including the development of partnerships in medicine and pharmaceutics. Kazakhstan's Prime Minister, Olzhas Bektenov, emphasized that collaboration with France remains one of the country's core foreign policy priorities. Mayor of the Karaganda region, Y.K. Bulekpayev, also highlighted the region's intention to collaborate with French enterprises, and an agreement was signed between the city of Karaganda and the French company SUEZ for a partnership in water supply and wastewater disposal.
During the forum, the parties discussed joint healthcare projects and the possibility of attracting French technologies and investments in this industry. As a result of the event, agreements have been signed to strengthen collaboration in the domains of medicine and pharmaceutics. Our university has signed an agreement with Université d'Évry Paris-Saclay to collaborate on biomedical research, academic mobility for staff and students, and the development of joint master's programs.
