On April 13, 2022, representatives of the School of Medicine conducted career guidance counseling with high school seniors of Karaganda.

Vice Dean, part-time program director  Yelena Olegovna Polyakova and a 6th year intern  Anar Amanzhan explained to the learners that the School of Medicine at the level of higher professional medical education is training in two fields of the "General Medicine": "General Practitioner" and "Pediatrics" educational program. 

Schoolgoers learned about the modes of study and duration of training, main competitive advantages of the program, as well as the typology and characteristics of the "GP", "Pediatrics" fields.

In addition, learners received information about the possibilities of academic mobility, practicing clinical skills in simulation rooms, rooms equipped with modern training appliances, mannequins, participation in international competitions, fellowships, scholarships and other events. They are all designed at developing not only knowledge and skills in students, but also the skills of independent and self-directed learning and implementation of the principle of learning throughout life.
