Instructors of the educational module "Environmental Medicine" of the School of Public Health at Karaganda Medical University organized and successfully held the International student online competition on the topic of "Current Issues of General Hygiene" on February 14, 2025. This event was intended to evaluate the quality of students' training, advance and consolidate their theoretical knowledge, and promote their professional development.

The intellectual contest was attended by 2-3 year students of the "Public Health/Medical and Preventative Care" educational program of leading medical universities of Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan.

The Competition evolved into not only a test of acquired knowledge and skills, but also a crucial platform for exchanging experience and enhancing academic cooperation among universities.

The participants demonstrated a high standard of knowledge and interest in studying the subject. Based on the results of the Competition, the winners were awarded diplomas. Among the students of Karaganda Medical University, the top places were taken by Akbota Alimbayeva, Akmarzhan Mamyrkhan, Anna Minenko and Rakhmanzhan Mamutov. Professor M.G. Kalishev, Assistant Professor S.I. Rogova, Associate Professor G.N. Taliyeva, Assistant Professor Zh.K. Shaikhina and Research Instructor G.Zh. Toktibayeva all contributed significantly to the winners' training.
