From April 10 to 15, 2025, as part of the Erasmus+ Project 101082831 – BERNICA – ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE “Building Educational and Research Capacities in Nutrition and Dietetics in Central Asia,” international days were held at medical universities in the Republic of Uzbekistan: Tashkent Medical Academy (Tashkent) and Bukhara State Medical University named after Abu Ali Ibn Sino (Bukhara). Participants included representatives from Kazakhstan (Karaganda Medical University, Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov), Kyrgyzstan (International Higher School of Medicine and Osh State University), and Tajikistan (Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, Khatlon State Medical University). Karaganda Medical University was represented by Professor Lyazat Katayevna Ibrayeva and Associate Professor Irina Viktorovna Bacheva.

As part of the international days, a meeting was held with the rectors of Tashkent Medical Academy and Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina, during which international challenges in medical education, and topics related to nutrition and nutritional supplementation for patients have been discussed. Participants were introduced to the universities' infrastructure, laboratories, and clinical sites.
