As part of the conclusion of a bilateral agreement and an agreement on cooperation in NC JSC "Karaganda Medical University", a teacher of the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology of Omsk State Medical University D. B. Avdeev was invited for the master class "Experience with digital technologies in the educational and scientific process" from June 20 to 23, 2023.

The emphasis in the presentation was made on the fact that digital technology - it is, above all, a tool that, when skillfully used, helps the teacher and makes the educational material more accessible to understanding. In confirmation of this idea, the capabilities of such digital programs as Aperio ImageScope, ImageJ, E-Share PRO and others. The discussion format of the event allowed for a mutual exchange of experience in educational and scientific areas, after which a tour of  NC JSC "KMU" units was conducted for D. B. Avdeev.

Meetings were held with Vice-Rector for Scientific and Clinical Work Turgunov Yermek Meiramovich, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation Riklefs Viktor Petrovich, Professor of the Department of Morphology and Physiology Zhanaidarova Galina Urazovna, as well as with other employees of various departments and divisions. Further international interdepartmental interaction was discussed, including in terms of writing a grant and joint publications in various scientific and disciplinary areas.
