On April 25, 2025, second-year pediatric residents of Karaganda Medical University, Aigerim Rakhimbayeva and Meruert Ziyatdinova, participated in the XX (anniversary) Research and Practical Conference of young scientists and students with international participation “Smart Technologies in Medical Education and Science: Innovative Approaches”, which was held in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan.

Aigerim Rakhimbayeva presented a paper on the topic of: “Current Problems of Vaccinal Prevention at an Early Age”, while Meruert Ziyatdinova spoke on “The Group of Children in Need of Palliative Care.” Both presentations received high praise from the jury: our residents were awarded 2nd and 3rd degree diplomas, respectively.

Participation in the conference was organized on behalf of the Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology, under the scientific supervision of Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor K.S. Zhumakanova.
