On October 9–10, 2025, in Karaganda, an International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “Modern Approaches in Traumatology, Orthopedics, and Rehabilitation: Innovations and Practical Application” was held, to mark the 110th anniversary of Professor Kh. Zh. Makazhanov, the founder of the trauma care in the Karaganda region, and the 75th anniversary of Karaganda Medical University.
The conference brought together professionals and researchers with various questions on modern approaches in traumatology, orthopedics and rehabilitation from Turkiye, Pakistan, Russia, China, Korea, Germany, Poland, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Tajikistan, and Sudan, highlighting its international level and significance.
In the section “The Function of Nursing Care in the Recovery of Patients after Injuries and Surgeries,” second-year master’s students from the School of Nursing Education — B.Bataa (“Nursing Support for Patients with Post-Stroke Upper Limb Paresis: Opportunities and Prospects”, scientific supervisor T.T. Kispayeva), A.S. Zheksenbayeva (“The Impact of Self-Management Combined with Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation on Gait Recovery in Post-Stroke Patients”, scientific supervisor T.T. Kispayeva), and N.S. Kaiyrzhanova (“The Effectiveness of Logotherapy in Post-Stroke Dysarthria”, scientific supervisor T.T. Kispayeva) took part. The presentations of the master’s students were distinguished by their relevance, practical focus, and reflection of modern trends in the development of nursing in the area of rehabilitation.
