On October 24, 2025, the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social-Political Sciences hosted a significant event to mark the Republic Day of Kazakhstan, which is celebrated annually on October 25th. This event brought together second-year students from the International Medical Faculty's 2004 group 2004 and first-year students from the MPC-1004 group, demonstrating spirit of unity and love for their homeland.
The event began with a video that narrated the history of the holiday, highlighting its significance in shaping modern Kazakhstani state. Following this, participants were challenged with an engaging quiz conducted in English and Kazakh, testing their knowledge on traditions, culture, and achievements of our country. The quiz enhanced understanding of national identity and pride in their state.
The event culminated with a creativity competition focused on a model development of future Kazakhstan. This stage enabled participants to use their imagination, creativity, and initiative by presenting ideas for the development of their homeland. Students actively engaged in the process, demonstrating their interest and desire to contribute to the prosperity of their country of birth.

The primary goal of the event was to educate the sense of patriotism, respect for historical heritage, and promote creativity of future generations. It also emphasized the importance of conservation of the national traditions and values while focusing on each citizen's significance in building strong and successful Kazakhstan.
For younger generations, such initiatives are particularly important as they foster a conscious attitude towards both past and future. They help youth recognize their responsibility for the country, inspire for vigorous action, and build a sense of belonging to the common goal in building a powerful and independent Republic.
Furthermore, involving students in discussions on key issues related to national development contributes to developing critical thinking skills, analyzing historical processes, and comprehending connections between historical events and modern times.
Organizing such events demonstrate the department's commitment to shaping social activism and increased awareness of historical legacy for young people. These events help to establish a strong bond between generations, preserve cultural heritage, and shape a generation of patriots ready to build the future of their country.
The facilitators of this event were teachers from the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social-Political Sciences: PhD, Associate Professor Bagdat Sabitovna Bitenova, and Assistant Professor Dinara Yermekovna Dzhakupova.
