From October 18 to 21, 2023 the II International Congress ROSMEDOBR, which brings together specialists of medical education from the Russian Federation and CIS countries was held in Moscow (Russia). Teachers and heads of educational organizations were invited to participate. Gulshat Kemelova, head of the Center for Simulation and Educational Technologies of the NCJSC "Karaganda Medical University" presented two reports at the Congress. She was the only representative from Kazakhstan who presented the experience of the Medical University of Karaganda and Kazakhstan's achievements in the development of medical education.  

Gulshat Kemelova is a member of ROSMEDOBR and as a member of the Scientific Committee of the ROSMEDOBR Congress contributed to the organization of the section "Experience of Russia and Kazakhstan: perspectives on the development of medical education".

The Congress is the leading platform, which brings together experts in the field of medical education, as well as thought leaders representing organizations in the field of medical education and educational organizations. Within the framework of the event, the following were organized:

·  XIV International Forum "Innovative Training Technologies in Medicine-2023",

·  II Congress of the Russian Society of Medical Education Specialists,

·  Exhibition of manufacturers of advanced technologies and solutions for medical education, as well as organizations working in the field of education and providers of events for CME.

The main topics discussed at the Congress:

• Issues of organization of medical education

• Professional development of medical educators

• Continuing Medical Education

• Technologies in medical education

• Evaluation of the effectiveness of training.

Participation in such international events stimulates and motivates to further improve the quality of education.
