"Leader of Higher Education: KMU – 75 Years"
On March 14, 2025, "Karaganda Medical University" NPJSC conducted a student scientific-theoretical conference "Leader of Higher Education: KMU - 75 Years" to mark the 75th anniversary of Karaganda Medical University as part of the implementation of the "Жaңа Қазақстан" ("Zhana Kazakhstan") program.
The conference was hosted by the Languages Development Center of "KMU" NPJSC. In addition to teaching languages, teachers at the Languages Development Center, headed by Marina Abilzhanovna Maretbayeva, place a significant emphasis on mentoring students in the spirit of patriotism and inclusive development of future doctors. This conference was no exception, with 34 students participating and preparing reports under the guidance of the Center's teachers.

The constructive area of the conference had been highlighted at the general session in the welcome speech of Kuatbek Kuanyshbekovich Toleubekov, the Vice-Rector for Academic Work of "Karaganda Medical University" NPJSC, who emphasized the significance of the conference marking the university's 75th anniversary, as well as the relevance of the presentation topics. The conference's guests, Karaganda Medical University alumni who proudly represent the university in healthcare, also delivered a welcome speech to the attendees.

During the general session and sectional work, attendees reviewed the contributions of prominent individuals from Kazakhstan's healthcare system to the development of our country's healthcare industry. The impact of scientific studies and innovations in medicine on doctors' practice activities was also highlighted. The language proficiency of future doctors, the importance of multilingualism in professional interaction, and access to worldwide medical knowledge have all been addressed. It should be mentioned that the presentations were delivered in Kazakh, Russian, and English.

The conference concluded with the adoption of a resolution. It provides practical guidance on challenges with the training of specialists relevant to global competition in the area of knowledge. The best reports awarded diplomas for three degrees. All conference reports are available electronically.
The conference attendees and hosts emphasized that Karaganda Medical University maintains the traditions of scientific research and educational innovation, building a strong foundation for future generations of healthcare professionals.
