In the ranking of "Atameken" National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the 2021, the educational program of the "KMU" NCJSC "Public Health" showed a good result, taking the third place. 

When evaluating educational programs, such indicators as career prospects of graduates, students' achievements, salaries of specialists, the level of employment and the duration of the job search are taken into account.

According to the dean of the School of Public Health and Biomedicine of Karaganda Medical University,  Zhaniya Abayevna Dauletkaliyeva, every year graduates of the "Public Health" field are employed in the country's leading healthcare organizations. Their demand has been especially evident in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The implementation of the educational program is carried out by experienced specialists in the field of public health, hygiene and epidemiology. Graduates have the opportunity to build a career in the Committee for Quality and Safety of Goods and Services, as well as their field offices, in public health laboratories, centers for health prmotion and prevention, and health care organizations.

Graduates of universities and medical colleges who have chosen the field of "Public Health" at our university are given the opportunity to study part-time.

The first place among the universities of Kazakhstan in the ranking of the 'Atameken" NCE of the RK was taken by the "Biology (Biomedicine)" educational program of "KMU" NCJSC.
The School of Public Health and Biomedicine notes that present-day developments indicate the demand for specialists qualified in biological and medical fields, which are rapidly developing in the country today.

Biomedicine as a science includes fundamental knowledge in the field of cellular and molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, bioinformatics, as well as knowledge and application of modern laboratory and instrumental methods of diagnosis, information, cellular and nanobiotechnologies, which allow studying a living organism from theoretical positions and finding innovative and non-standard practical solutions to topical problems in the field of biology and healthcare.

Biomedical graduates can build a successful career in research, production institutions of biological, microbiological and medical (in particular, pharmaceutical) profile, organizations of  laboratory diagnostics, sanitary and epidemiological expertise, environmental protection, expertise of  biotechnological raw materials. They can also continue their studies at the master's degree program.
