Delegation of Karaganda Medical University Participated in an International Conference in Kazan
From May 13 to 17, 2025, a delegation from the Non-Profit Joint Stock Company "Karaganda Medical University" took part in the XI International Educational and Methodological Conference “Medical Education: The Choice of the 21st Century Generation”, held at Kazan State Medical University (Russian Federation).

The delegation included:

Acting Rector — V.P. Riklefs,

Dean of the School of Medicine — B.K. Omarkulov,

Dean of the International Medical Faculty — K.K. Sarsenbayev

During the conference, representatives of Karaganda Medical University delivered presentations on the university’s experience in digital transformation and the integration of artificial intelligence into the educational process.
They presented specific cases of AI implementation in training medical students, as well as developments in online learning and digital platforms.

In addition, working meetings with Russian colleagues were held to discuss the organization of joint educational programs and potential research collaboration, including joint projects and academic exchange initiatives.

Participation in the conference marked an important step in strengthening academic ties between Kazakhstan and Russia and highlighted Karaganda Medical University’s strategic focus on international partnership and the advancement of innovative medical education.
