Confidently Reaching the World of National Healthcare: Job Fair at Karaganda Medical University

On February 21 and 27, university graduates took part in the "Job Fair." The Career Development Center of KMU, in collaboration with healthcare organizations from Karaganda, the Karaganda, Pavlodar, Akmola, Kostanay, and North Kazakhstan regions, as well as the Ulytau region, hosted a career networking event.

The job fair offered an opportunity for 500 young specialists and 50 potential employers to interact efficiently and establish professional connections.

Representatives from health-care institutions discussed possibilities for employment, the working environment, social benefits, and support programs for young professionals. They additionally presented graduates with an array of recruitment opportunities across various areas of training, such as general practitioners, specialized doctors, medical technologists, epidemiologists, and more.

Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of Karaganda Region also participated in the networking event, offering graduates employment options in the field of sanitary and epidemiological surveillance. They emphasized the importance of training qualified professionals in disease prevention and control and discussed career development opportunities in this area.

Students had the opportunity to personally communicate with representatives of various organizations, ask questions, and learn more about the employment process and qualification requirements. Nowadays, young medical professionals can look forward to fringe benefits, housing, payouts, comfortable working environment in regional hospitals, and government support.

As a result of this event, employers were able to attract prospective young employees, while graduates acquired a greater understanding of the labor market and established important professional connections.
