On November 13-14, 2025, the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Present-Day Trends in Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine” was held at Astana Medical University. Representatives from local and international medical facilities and practical healthcare attended the conference. Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences T.T. Kispayeva represented Karaganda Medical University, who delivered a report on the topic of “Bioregulatory Approaches in Aftercare: Opportunities and Prospects,” highlighting new approaches in modern medicine to patient’s state of health based on bioregulatory medicine.
As part of the international scientific and practical conference, a competition for young scientists was held. M.S. Amirbekova, a third-year PhD candidate from the School of Medicine, presented their work on the topic of “The Impact of Robotic Therapy on the Relationship between the Psycho-Emotional Background and Functional Recovery of the Upper Limb after Stroke” (academic advisor Professor T.T. Kispayeva).
The judges of the “Young Scientists” contest, based on the criteria of relevance, novelty, methodology, and practical significance, including the design and style of presentation, highly rated the submitted work (“The Impact of Robotic Therapy on the Relationship between the Psycho-Emotional Background and Functional Recovery of the Upper Limb after Stroke,” speaker M.S. Amirbekova, academic advisor Prof. T.T. Kispaeva), defining the first place winners among the competitioners.
