As part of the academic mobility program, fr om November 12, 2024, to December 5, 2024, 2nd-year residents specializing in “Adult and Children's Nephrology” –  A.K. Sandybayeva, I.V. Lopukha, R.N.Oralova , M.A. Zhaksylyk – fr om Karaganda Medical University were in training on the “Pediatric Nephrology” discipline at Kazan State Medical University. They underwent both theoretical and practical training fr om the doctors and professors of the Department of Hospital Pediatrics, chairperson is Professor  D.I. Sadykova. Also we would like to mention the individuals responsible for preparation the program: Professor  T.P. Makarovsa, and senior lecturers  N.V. Samoylova and  Yu.S. Melnikova.

They participated in the conference on "Детское сердце - редкое сердце" ("Child's Heart – Rare Heart") on November 15, which was dedicated to orphan diseases in children, and also attended the 19th International Congress on “Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery” on November 21-22. Additionally, they were participants in the research and practical conference on "Дискуссионный клуб для нефрологов и гематологов. Мультидисциплинарный подход к проблемам лимфопролиферации" ("Debating Club for Nephrologists and Hematologists: A Multidisciplinary Approach to the Problems of Lymphoproliferation.")

The medical residents also did their practical training at the Department of Nephrology at the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital in Kazan, wh ere they supervised patients and mastered skills in angiography and renal ultrasound diagnostics. It was a very interesting and engaging experience, and the residents gained a lot of new information, which they will gladly apply in their clinical practice.

In addition to their studies, as part of the cultural program, they visited all the historical landmarks of Kazan.
