Assistant Professor from the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social-Political Sciences Madina Bulatovna Ospanova, in cooperation with students from the International Faculty, conducted a panel discussion on the topic of "Addiction. Prevention. Ways to Combat."
The students made presentations in which the problem of addiction was explored. The types of addiction and methods of dealing with this issue were discussed. Special attention was paid to gambling, computer addiction, and anaclisis/neediness. The attendees talked about the nature of addictive behavior, its psychological and social causes.  They also discussed the significance of family, society, and personal accountability. A comparative analysis of the situation in Kazakhstan and India was conducted.
