 “Karaganda Simulation Team” at the “Phygital Quest-2025” Olympiad

"Phygital Quest-2025" is an unique educational workshop for future doctors that combines digital technologies (VR/XR) with real-world medical simulators. This approach lets students to practice clinical skills in the most realistic a setting as feasible while posing no risk to patients.
The Olympiad is organized by the ROSMEDOBR Association and MEDVIAR company, with the support fr om the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the State Duma Committee on Health Protection, RMANPO, the Moscow International Medical Cluster, the Skolkovo Foundation, the Department of Information Technologies of Moscow, and GEOTAR-Med company.
The "Karaganda Simulation Team" was trained at the Center for Simulation and Educational Technologies at Karaganda Medical University. Training was carried out under the supervision of a facilitator, Yevgeniya Vladimirovna Sapalidi, with the full support of the Center's director, Gulshat Seitmuratovna Kemelova.
From September 22 to 26, 2025, the "Karaganda Simulation Team" participated in the second regional stage of the All-Russia Olympiad "Phygital Quest-2025", which was held in Moscow at the "Smart City" site, Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy. 



This stage followed the team's outstanding performance in May 2025 at Siberian State Medical University (Tomsk), wh ere they advanced to the semi-finals, won the "Best Teamwork" award, and received XR-Clinic licenses and access to medical literature. 
September results:
• Out of 18 participating teams, our team entered the Top 5 finalists.
• “Karaganda Simulation Team” was the only team to receive two nominations:
- “Best Teamwork”
- “Best Resuscitation Team”
• As a result, the team earned the right to perform in the final in Moscow.
In this regard, the "Karaganda Simulation Team," which was trained at Karaganda Medical University's Center for Simulation and Educational Technologies, demonstrated a high level of professional competencies, teamwork, and readiness to represent the university in the final stage of the "Phygital Quest-2025" Olympiad.
