To encourage researchers who have contributed to the development of science, as well as stimulate young researchers, Karaganda Medical University held a contest “Best Researcher of “Karaganda Medical University” NCJSC 2024”, timed to the Day of Science Workers and to mark the 75th anniversary of Karaganda Medical University.
Full-time staff of the "KMU" NCJSC who are actively involved in science were invited to participate in the contest in the nominations "Best Researcher" and "Best Young Researcher".
In total, 13 applications have been received for the contest, 4 applications for the "Best Researcher" nomination and 9 applications for the "Best Young Researcher" nomination.
According to the Provision on the organization and holding of the annual contest "Best Researcher of the "KMU" NCJSC (approved by the Decision of the Senate of the "KMU" NCJSC dated January 20, 2025), Contest Commission (approved by the order of the Acting Chairman of the Board-Rector of "KMU" NCJSC No. 136 dated March 31, 2025) and Appeal Commission (approved by the order of the Acting Chairman of the Board-Rector of "KMU" NCJSC No. 137 dated March 31, 2025) have been established.
On April 2, 2025, a meeting of the Contest Commission was held, where the provided supporting materials and documents of each applicant were reviewed for compliance with the indicators of scientific achievement assessment in accordance with the Provision on the organization and holding of the annual contest "Best Researcher of the "KMU" NCJSC. At the end of the meeting, the results of checking the compliance of the provided supporting materials and documents with the selected criteria for evaluating scientific achievements were sent to the corporate emails of each applicant.
From April 3 to 7, 2025, each applicant had the opportunity to submit an application to the Appeal Commission in case of disagreement with the decision of the Contest Commission. In total, the Appeals Commission received 2 applications. On April 8, 2025, all appeals were reviewed by the members of the Appeal Commission collectively in accordance with the Provision on the organization and holding of the annual contest "Best Researcher of the "KMU" NCJSC. At the end of the meeting, the results of the consideration of the appeals were sent to the applicants' corporate emails.
