Dear colleagues!
To give an incentive to researchers who contributed to the development of science, as well as to stimulate young scientists, Karaganda Medical University announces in-house Contest “Best Researcher of “Karaganda Medical University” NCJSC in 2024”, on the occasion of the Day of Science Workers and 75th anniversary of Karaganda Medical University.
Full-time staff of “KMU” NCJSC actively involved with research are invited to participate. Two prizes are awarded within the framework of the Contest:
- 1 prize in the nomination of “Best Researcher” – in the amount of 100 MCI;
- 1 prize in the nomination of “Best Young Researcher” – in the amount of 50 MCI.
Young researchers include employees under the age of 40 years (inclusively). The same applicant can not be nominated for the award in more than one nomination. The prize is awarded to the person who has scored the most points in one nomination according to the indicators of evaluation of scientific insights.
To participate in the Contest, applicants submit the following documents:
- Application form for participation in the Contest for the award (according to the form F KMU 6/3-01/1);
- Information in accordance with the indicators of evaluation of scientific in insights of the applicant for the award (according to the table in MS Excel);
- Supporting materials and documents for each selected criterion in the Information on scientific insights;
- A reference from the Department of Human Resources Management of “KMU” NCJSC.
The documents for participation in the Contest are accepted to the corporate email of the specialist of the Department of Scientific Work Aleshina@qmu.kz until March 20, 2025 (inclusively).
Scientific insights of the applicant for the award will be evaluated according to the following indicators:
- to have a degree, academic status, and Hirsch index;
- academic work with students;
- training staff who have been awarded a degree;
- management of scientific projects and programs, as well as participation in them;
- the presence and quality of scientific results (articles in peer-reviewed journals, monographs and/or chapters in monographs, patents, methodological recommendations, and certificates of copyright);
- confirmed results of scientific and scientific and technological activities for their implementation.
All indicators are taken into account for the 2024 calendar year.
