"Karaganda Medical University" Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company announces the discontinuation of Vocational Education and Training, Post-Secondary Education following the reorganization of the university. The need for reorganization is for to the following circumstances.
By the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 24, 2024, No. 320, "Karaganda Medical University" Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company was reorganized by dividing into "Karaganda Medical University" Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company and "National Center for Occupational Health and Occupational Diseases" Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company.
On September 27, 2024, "Karaganda Medical University" Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company passed state registration at the justice department, BIN 240940035132.
According to paragraph 5, Article 34 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Permissions and Notifications", during the reorganization of a legal entity-licensee in the form of division, its existing license and (or) annex to the license are subject to reissuance to one of the legal entities newly created as a result of the division, if the compliance of this legal entity newly created as a result of the reorganization with the qualification requirements is confirmed.
It should be pointed out that in 2023, the university decided to stop the admission of students for educational programs of Vocational Education and Training, Post-Secondary Education, with the subsequent termination of the implementation of these educational programs after the completion of the studies of previously admitted students. Therefore, the university does not have a new enrollment of students for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic years, nor does it have the academic staff for the relevant courses or the necessary material and technical equipment, etc.
In this regard, when reissuing existing licenses, "Karaganda Medical University" Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company is unable to confirm the qualification requirements for educational programs of Vocational Education and Training, Post-Secondary Education, and therefore stops to implement them.
"Karaganda Medical University" Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company announces the transfer of all students in Vocational Education and Training, Post-Secondary Education programs, in the manner prescribed by the Orders of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 595 dated October 30, 2018 "On Approval of the Model Rules for the Activities of Organisations of Higher and Postgraduate Education " and No. 19 dated January 20, 2015 "On Approval of the Rules for Public Services Delivery in Vocational Education and Training, Post-Secondary Education programs " to other educational organizations of the appropriate level.
