Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Committee of Science) announces a Competition for grant funding for research for young scientists under the Жас Ғалым (Zhas Galym) project for 2026-2028 in the following priority areas of science development according to the Competitive Documentation:

– Ecology, environment and rational use of natural resources;
– Energy, advanced materials and transportation;
– Advanced manufacturing, digital and space technologies;
– Intellectual potential of the country;
– Life and health sciences;
– Sustainable development of agro-industrial complex;
– National security and defense, biological security.

Call center for working with the information system of "NCSTE" JSC (is.ncste.kz ) to submit applications: +7 (727) 344-11-10 (ext. 203, 210, 211, 213, 214, 218, 219, 221, 223, 226, 227, 230, 233, 234). Office hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am – 6 pm, lunch: 1 pm – 2 pm.

Application forms are submitted to the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan in electronic format, certified by the electronic digital signature of the research advisor and the applicant, via the information system of the "NCSTE" JSC at the link: https://is.ncste.kz.

The start of accepting applications is from September 29, 2025.
The deadline for submitting applications is October 29, 2025 (inclusive).
